Step 1 of 3

1 Install Tampermonkey

UltraVPB uses a browser extension called Tampermonkey to connect to your phone bank page. Click the link for your browser to install it:

Tampermonkey is a free, widely-used browser extension trusted by over 10 million users. It lets UltraVPB add a QR code panel to your phone bank page.

Already have Tampermonkey? Great — move on to step 2.

2 Install the UltraVPB Script

Click the button below. Tampermonkey will show an install dialog — click "Install" to add the script.

Install UltraVPB

Tampermonkey will open automatically and ask you to confirm.

After installing, you'll see UltraVPB listed in your Tampermonkey dashboard with a green toggle.

3 You're Ready

UltraVPB is set up!

Open any VAN phone bank and look for the UltraVPB panel with a QR code.

Quick Start

  1. Open a phone bank on your laptop (VAN, EveryAction, or OpenVPB)
  2. Look for the UltraVPB QR code in the sidebar
  3. Scan the QR code with your phone's camera
  4. Your phone shows each voter's info with a tap-to-dial button
  5. After the call, tap a result code on your phone — it marks it on VAN automatically
Works with: VAN / EveryAction · OpenVPB · BlueVote

iPhone tip: After scanning the QR code, tap Share → Add to Home Screen to make UltraVPB feel like a native app on your phone.

Troubleshooting

I don't see a QR code on my phone bank page
Check that Tampermonkey is enabled (you should see its icon in your browser toolbar with a small number badge). Also make sure you're on a supported phone bank page — the URL should contain openvpb.com, everyaction.com, or bluevote.com. Try refreshing the page.
My phone says "Connecting..." and nothing happens
Refresh the VAN page on your laptop to generate a fresh QR code, then scan it again. If you're on a slow network, give it a few seconds — the phone will automatically fall back to a different connection method.
The QR code won't scan
Try tapping the link that appears below the QR code on your laptop instead — you can also type it into your phone's browser. Make sure your phone camera is close enough and the screen is bright.
It was working but now my phone shows "Host disconnected"
This means the VAN page on your laptop was closed or refreshed. Reopen your phone bank on the laptop, then scan the new QR code.
